Jerry grew up in Corktown.
Two things will remain attached to Jerry Ormond: his column (The Hamilton Spectator) and his camera. He was known to write with wit and wisdom.
Jerry was instrumental in creating the Hamilton Sports Wall of Fame in Copps Coliseum which honoured our athletes who gained national and international fame(The wall has since become a Sport Hamilton project)
