Rankin’s Grill was a hub for the community with Gerry’s friendly demeanour welcoming everyone to the neighbourhood pub.
There were many organizations that benefited from Gerry’s generosity such as East Kiwanis Boys & Girls Club, The Cancer Assistance Program, The Brain Tumour Foundation, ALS, and the Good Shepherd.
Gerry was also known for his one to one assistance to his neighbours in need.
