Father Tony was born in Labrador and came to Hamilton on the request of Bishop Crosby to be St.Patrick’s Church Parish priest. Father Tony found the need to start the St. Patrick’s outreach program and the DeMazenod Door to help feed those in their neighbourhood who needed a helping hand.
St.Patrick’s Church was dedicated in 1877 and has been serving Corktown and Hamilton since that time. We “tip our hat” to the people of St.Patrick’s church who have created a vibrant community within the inner city.
