2008: Ed Dunn

“I think if you are going to be involved in volunteering, it has to be from the heart, not from the head” says Edward Dunn. “You can get overwhelmed with the amount of work that you have to do, but if you love it then you are certainly going to be doing everything you can.”

Ed started his volunteering career with the Hamilton Hurricanes executive and alumni committees and the Junior Chamber of Commerce. Ed has chaired the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation Golf Tournament for many decades. He has served on boards such as St. Elizabeth Visiting Nurses Assoc., and Mount Hamilton Legal Aid.

He volunteers with the WOTG committee, the St. Margaret Mary Parish Twinning Committee, the Good Shepherd Harvest Dinner and the International Children’s Games. Not to mention assisting Santa at various events.
